PHIL ORR & MORE: Live at the Off-Broadstreet Theatre

In the fall of 2016 this trio (featuring MICHAEL O'BRIEN, bass, and SEAN DIXON, drums) played two upbeat shows at the newly renovated Off-Broadstreet Theatre in Hopewell, NJ to enthusiastic audiences. Fortunately, Justin Titus was on-hand to record, and what started as a few demo tracks turned into a very tasty album in the mix-/mastering hands of Glenn Barratt. (Thanks, guys.)

There's a lot of '60s groove here (On a Clear Day, All Blues, Mercy Mercy Mercy, The 'In' Crowd), with tender lyricism (Autumn Leaves, Something You Once Said), a funky "Take Five" and a gear-stripping "Take the 'A' Train". Well done and good fun. Read the Album Notes
